HR & Recruiting Manager

German Autolabs is building a digital assistant for drivers, which will make access to apps and services while on the road safer and more convenient. The Berlin-based technology startup utilizes the latest voice and gesture control technology, alongside Artificial Intelligence. The combination of an interoperable, scalable software platform for cognitive assistance with a retrofit hardware device democratizes the latest connected car technology - making it accessible to everyone.

What you will do

  • Heading all HR relevant tasks from hiring internationally, to onboarding new team members, payroll management and offboarding.
  • Being first contact for management team and tech leads for all HR related topics. 
  • Responsible for the complete recruiting process of the company. You chose the tools and coordinate the flow globally; 
  • Find the best talents by proactively approaching candidates, screening incoming applications and conducting an appropriate selection process, including interviews 
  • Develop the best recruiting strategy to attract new talents in cooperation with the respective department and build up a talent pool

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree or comparable 
  • 4-6 experience as a HR manager in a German company - preferably in a software/tech related, multi-language / multi-cultural team environment; solid experience in German labor law. Detailed understanding in hiring international candidates from Germany (Blue Card etc.) 
  • Experience in the professional conduction of interviews and written communication with candidates in both German and English 
  • Quick comprehension for the acquisition of technical terms and product interdependencies Knowledge of different methods and tools in recruiting and use of these for the development of unconventional sourcing strategies
Other requirements 
  • Valid work permit for EU.
